Prepares you to teach essential and intermediate level stretch and strength exercises on equipment designed to complement and complete STOTT PILATES™ training: Cadillac/Trapeze Table, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and Arc Barrel. By the end of this course you are able to fine tune both personal and circuit training programs to meet a variety of your clients' conditioning goals -- from post-rehabilitation to athletic performance enhancement. Pilates Center of Cedar Rapids will be offering the Intensive Cadillac, Chair & Barrels course in three separate modules so you can choose what specialty you want to take and when. Or sign up for all three and save. Completion of all three modules is required to be eligible for certification.
Prerequisites: IMP and IR ADVANCED REPERTOIREIf you have successfully completed STOTT PILATES™ Intensive or Comprehensive courses and want to expand your repertoire of skills to challenge the fittest of clients, you are encouraged to work towards Level Two STOTT PILATES™ Certification by completing the relevant Advanced Repertoire courses. 3 days of intensive training: 18 hrs of instruction WORKSHOPSPilates Center of Cedar Rapids introductory and continuing education workshops are a great way to expand your STOTT PILATES knowledge. Workshops are available throughout the year at Pilates Center of Cedar Rapids, or ask us about how to host a workshop at your facility. Most workshops qualify for continuing education credits from STOTT PILATES and other certification organizations. Each workshop covers the relevant STOTT PILATES repertoire with an emphasis on exercise goals and on applying the STOTT PILATES basic principles. Depending on the length of the workshop you choose (from 1.5 to 6 hours), increasingly more material is covered and a greater emphasis is placed on exercise modifications, strategies for designing effective programs and development of cueing, eye training and correcting skills.
